Prayer Ministry

The Christian Family Centre (CFC) encourages everyone to communicate to God through prayer. Here are some of the many opportunities you can engage in prayer at the CFC.

Before our 10:30 am Sunday Service From 9:45 am – 10:10 am there is a prayer gathering to pray for God’s blessing on our meetings in the Crèche Room. All are welcome to pray and intercede for the power and presence of Jesus to cover all that happens in our church on a Sunday.

Men’s and Women’s Prayer Meetings Everyone is welcome to attend these inspiring and faith-filled gatherings where we pray for the church, the world and you! Women: from 8:30 am – 10 am Wednesdays in the Crèche. Men: from 6:45 am – 8 am Monday, Wednesday and Friday in Activity Room 1 upstairs.

Prayer Chain There is a prayer chain that provides prayer support to those in emergency situations (e.g. ICU, life-threatening illnesses, women in labour etc). To place a request on the prayer chain please contact the church office.

Prayer Request / Praise Report A Connect Card is found on the seats in our auditorium each Sunday and the “comment” section is designed for anyone with a prayer request or for any testimonies of healings, miracles or God’s blessings you may have experienced. These prayer requests will then be forwarded to the Prayer Coordinator during the week for prayer.

All Church Prayer A couple of times a year we come together as a church community for a time of focused intercession for our community, city and nations. These times will be advertised in Church News and the Newsletter.

Apart from this there is also the opportunity to get involved in prayer through Connect Groups, Mission support groups, Youth/Children and other Ministry areas of the church.

“The fervent prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results.” James 5:16 (NLT)
