People can easily feel disconnected from a church if they are just attending services. Being part of a small group provides the opportunity for you to get to know some great people and experience belonging in God's family. In fact, not only can you be known and receive genuine care, as part of a small group you can learn how to follow Jesus in your day to day life.
As we hang out, enjoy good food & coffee and open the Scriptures, we allow Jesus' words to shape us, guide us, speak to us. As we encounter God in prayer and look out for each other, we find real answers to big needs. Whenever we admit areas where we fall short (rather than pretending we have it all together) we remind others: you are not alone! Finding creative ways to show we care and showing up when it matters most, makes a world of difference to those around us.
Currently at CFC Seaton, Connect Groups meet fortnightly during school terms. There are groups for young adults, young marrieds, singles, parents, adults, families, business people and a variety of age groups.
